I am currently the Director of HR and Institutional Advancement for a small non-profit organization. In this capacity I oversee all HR operations for our 23 person staff, work with the Sr. Management Team to ensure we maintain true to the corporate culture we’ve intentionally created over the past 5 years and advance the organizations relationships with donors and external partners.

I had a thought provoking conversation today with Joe Laur of Greenopolis. We were talking about the BP oil debacle and the link between environmental catastrophes like the Gulf leak and our nation’s addiction to oil. Joe had an interesting post about this recently at the Greenopolis site called Petroleum Saved the Whales… Now what will save us from petroleum?
